Spring is in the air, and now is the time to start thinking about the outdoor decor. I love my backyard, but other than one little light I noticed it seemed a bit dark. I started thinking about how I could remedy this, and adding some lights over my favorite spot seemed perfect. Every time I have a rough day I go out to the hammock and look up. It is the most calming view ever, and only steps away from my home. The lights just add that little extra I was looking for, and it was so easy!
All I needed was a ladder, my trusty drill, some hook screws ($1.97 for 4), and some globe lights. I started off adding pilot holes in my poor little trees. It took a little trial and error to find the right spacing and height. I screwed in the hook screws, and hung up the lights. See, super simple! Unless you are afraid of heights and/or bugs. Don’t worry, no trees were harmed in the process, and if they were I gave them a little hug to make them feel better.
